Ministries at Goodville

Children’s Ministries

With average attendance of about 50 people on Sunday, we offer three different Sunday school classes for folks with families. Our combined Jr high and high school Sunday school class is taught in a relaxed classroom with couches and a nationally published Bible based curriculum for the students. Both credentialed ministry and congregational members teach the class with a strong focus on discussion centered around the mornings scriptural context. Students are strongly encouraged to thoughtfully discuss day to day activities and how the lesson can strengthen everyday life in Christ. It’s a small and challenging class. We have a lot of fun!

Our children’s classes are split into two separate rooms, both preschool and elementary. Our teachers sing songs, celebrate birthdays, and teach scriptural basics from a nationally published Bible based curriculum that puts down deep roots for future learning. There’s a strong emphasis on activity learning. Our teachers love children, and have many years experience to offer developing minds!

Youth Group

Goodville is always looking to the future and exploring new ideas for ministry to teens. At this time, our younger members participate in programs offered by other church’s in our conference. Keep checking for youth events offered by Goodville, we usually have several through the year!

Small Groups

Because of the size of our congregation, our “smaller group” focus is on a Bible study series, usually through the winter months. Keep posted for offerings, and check the quarterly newsletter for details!
